Chocolate Fondue

Looking for a groovy way to sweeten up your day? A fresh batch of chocolate fondue might be just the thing to satisfy that sweet tooth! Fun, easy, and oh so delicious, everyone will want a taste!

Ingredients:
-1 pound of chocolate chopped into pieces (milk or dark)

-1 1/2 cups of heavy cream

-(optional) 1/2 tablespoon of orange extract

-(optional) 1 tablespoon brandy

-Any dippers you like! I recommend strawberries, marshmallows, crisped rice cereal treats, or pound cake. Get creative with whatever you’d like to snack on!

Directions:
Step 1- If your chocolate is not in small pieces, be sure to chop it up to make melting easier.

Step 2- If you have a double boiler, fill the bottom pan with water (ensuring the water does not touch the bottom of the top pan). Place the top pan on the bottom pan then place both pans on a low heat until the water reaches a slow boil. If you do not have a double boiler, simply use a sauce pan with a mixing bowl on top.

Step 3- Pour the cream into the pan and wait for it to feel warm to the touch. Add the chocolate and carefully mix it with a spoon or whisk until smooth. Mix in the orange flavor and brandy if desired.

Step 4- Remove from heat. If you have a fondue pot, pour the chocolate inside and light the fuel underneath with a low flame.

Step 5- Dip away and enjoy!
